So I wasn’t sure that I wanted to do an ‘outfits’ thing here, but I figure HELL, I like clothes, I can be one of those girls!
I went for drinks with some friends tonight and I was pretty comfy and happy in my pub outfit:

I have been trolling Lookbook pretty hard lately and noticed a surge in knee-high socks. I love wearing dresses and skirts but am running out of interesting ways to keep my legs warm as we slip into winter, so, inspired, I scooted to the mall last night and grabbed a pair. I used to wear high socks as part of my uniform in high school and wearing them again kind of makes me feel like a school girl, but big socks are kind of fun and I don’t often get to play around with dressing up my shins!
Good friends, delicious beers and warm socks. If there is anything more to life then I don’t want to know about it.
I have a mild obsession with fashion blogs. I honestly think I get more enjoyment out of the blogs than out of fashion itself! Such a wonderful time-waster. Fashion blogs are so much more fun to me than magazines because I can be inspired by looks that real girls wear, things that exist in the real world, are affordable and much of the time more creative than some silly concoction made up by a snooty fashion editor over at Vogue. Some of my favorites are Delightfully Tacky, Sea of Shoes, The Sartorialist, and Orchid Grey.
